Dr. Georgios Siviloglou moved from Greece in 2004 to CREOL/ Univ of Central Florida to work on nonlinear photonics with Professor Christodoulides for his PhD. Afterwards he joined in 2010 the group of the Nobel laureate Wolfgang Ketterle at MIT to work on ultracold quantum gases. Since 2014 he has been working with Professor Schreck at the University of Amsterdam towards the first quantum gas of strontium. In the last years he received a Marie-Curie fellowship. He has published several major papers in PRL with citations over 4000.
