Individual Resume: Liang Jin, associate professor, the member of Tianjin Youth Thousand Talents Program and Hundred Young Academic Leaders Program of Nankai University, studied in Nankai University for Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in 2003-2012, joined The Chinese University of Hong Kong as a postdoctoral research assistant in 2012-2015, and has served as associate professor of Nankai University from 2015 to now.
Research direction: Quantum physics and condensed matter theory.
Research topic and academic works: As the prototype of laser, the microwave device is seriously subject to the vacuum and low temperature upon application. We designed the first solid-state microwave device at room temperature by virtue of the long spin lifetime, high pumping efficiency, and good stability and thermal conductivity of diamond [Liang Jin, et al., Nature Communications 6, 8251 (2015)]. Such microwave device owns the following good features: low threshold value, high output power, long coherence and low noise; Our research work was selected as 'Research Highlights' by Nature Photonics [Nature Photonics 9, 707 (2015)], and was selected as 'Feature Story' by www.techxinwen.com Phys.
