Zhigang Chen, Professor

PhD supervisor, winner of the National Overseas Outstanding Young Investigator Funds and member of the Recruitment Program of Global Experts. He has published over 300 papers, including international high-level academic journals such as Science, Science Advance, Nature Mat., Nature Commun. and Phys. Rev. Lett., with the total number of citations over 6,000 and an h-index of 45 (as of 2017 according to ISI Web of Science). He edited one English monograph, and published 8 book chapters. His work has been featured in many news media and magazines, including Nature Photonics、Physics Report、New Scientist、OSA News Release, and 12 times in Optics & Photonics News as “Optics of the Year”. Dr. Chen serves as an Editor for Optics Letters, ­­­­­­Scientific Reports, Science Bulletin, and Advances in Physics X, and was elected as a Fellow of the Optical Society of America and a Fellow of the American Physical Society.
