Resume

He mainly engaged in the research of ultrafast spectroscopy, utilizing techniques such as time-resolved transient spectroscopy and optical Kerr gates to study the carrier dynamics and nonlinear optics of novel materials, as well as the underlying physical mechanisms.

Research Fields

Research Topic:  Carrier dynamics, Nonlinear Optics, optical constant

We focus on the optical response of novel two-dimensional materials, involving the linear and nonlinear optical properties and applications of two-dimensional layered materials, as well as the carrier dynamics and physical mechanisms.

1. Ultrafast carrier dynamics

Study the relaxation of photoexcited charge carriers, coherent phonon oscillations, and the interaction between non-equilibrium carriers and light.

2. Nonlinear optics

Study the optical nonlinear refraction and nonlinear absorption. For this purpose, we have developed polarized light Z-scan technique. This technique enables us to obtain the third-order nonlinear susceptibility tensor elements and then the nonlinear optical mechanisms.

3. Photocurrent response process of two-dimensional materials

Study the intrinsic response process of two-dimensional material-based photodetectors, revealing the transport of photoexcited charge carriers and the formation of photocurrent.

4. Optical response under phase transition

Study the optical properties, carrier dynamics, and physical mechanisms of layered phase transition materials.
