Zhigang Chen, Professor

PhD supervisor, winner of the National Overseas Outstanding Young Investigator Funds. He has published over 300 papers, including international high-level academic journals such as Science, Science Advance, Nature Mat., Nature Commun. and Phys. Rev. Lett., with the total number of citations over 6,000 and an h-index of 45 (as of 2017 according to ISI Web of Science). He edited one English monograph, and published 8 book chapters. His work has been featured in many news media and magazines, including Nature Photonics、Physics Report、New Scientist、OSA News Release, and 12 times in Optics & Photonics News as “Optics of the Year”. Dr. Chen serves as an Editor for Optics Letters, ­­­­­­Scientific Reports, Science Bulletin, and Advances in Physics X, and was elected as a Fellow of the Optical Society of America and a Fellow of the American Physical Society.
