Ming Feng: doctor and associate professor, graduated from School of Physics of Nankai University with Doctor degree in 2006. He mainly engaged in the research in the optical optics, laser technology, nonlinear optics, optical communication technology, etc., especially near-infrared fiber lasers and supercontinuum generation, saturable absorption and nonlinear features of 2D materials. His research was supported by the projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Natural Science Foundation of Tianjin, Science Foundation for The Excellent Youth Scholars of Ministry of Education of China, key laboratory project of the Ministry of Education, etc. He also participated in the research in the 973 project, 863 project, international cooperation key project of Ministry of Science and Technology, key project of National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has gained 1 invention patent and published over 30 papers. The cladding-pump optical fiber lasing theory and experimental study was awarded with the Second Prize of National Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education in 2006.
