Feng Gao, graduated from Condensed Matter Physics of Nankai University as doctor in 2006. Now, he serves as associate professor of optics major of School of Physics of Nankai University (TEDA Applied Physics Institute), and engages teaching the undergraduate courses of Experiment of College Physics- Electromagnetism and A Brief History of Science and Technology.


Research direction:

1 Fiber acousto-optic structure and its application: Research and develop the acousto-optic devices of optical fiber structure, combine the low insertion loss of optical fiber device, the advantage of compact structure, and the application of acousto-optic devices in high-speed tuning, amplitude and frequency shift, face the communication and sensing, with application-oriented research.

2 Fiber micro-nano optics: Research the integration and application of micro-nano structure in the mode conversion of fiber, the light nonlinearity and application in the structure with a fiber IO interface.
