Weiping Zang, Professor
Doctoral supervisor and winner of Program for New Century Excellent Talents. He gained the Doctor of Science degree of Nankai University in 1993, and has engaged in the research in photonics field, mainly involving the research on mechanism, measurement and application of optics nonlinear. In recent years, he has published over 60 papers on the magazines such as Appl.Phys. Lett. , Opt. Lett, Opt. Express. , etc., and he has cited SCI for over 500 times.
Research field: 1 Electromagnetic theory of light; 2 Optical tweezers and optics micro manipulation; 3 Laser electron acceleration.
