Research direction:
Scientific research: The researches in biomedical information include: (1) Modeling and simulation of biomedicine physical information, modeling and simulation of physical life information combining the animal experiment and clinical data. (2) Collection and treatment of biological medical signal, analysis and extraction of characteristic quantity of physiological signal with various advanced signal treatment technologies as the basis of clinical non-invasive test. In recent years, he published more than 40 papers.
Physical education research:
Carry out the physical education research, pay attention to the teaching reform and the ability cultivation of students, strengthen the research to students' thought and learning pattern in the physics teaching, explore new teaching pattern, teaching method, teaching technology and environment, etc. Especially introduce the advanced international education concept in China. In 2007, he led to view and emulate the 20th International Youth Physical Tournament (IYPT) hosted by South Korea, then in 2009, he acted as the president of organizer and held the 22nd IYPT in Nankai University on behalf of China, and introduced the education concept of IYPT into ability cultivation of students for the first time. He not only founded the annual physical academic competition in Nankai University, but also sponsored the China Undergraduate Physics Tournament (CUPT) which has been held for 7 times successfully, with over 80 participating colleges and universities. Meanwhile, in 2013, he also sponsored China Young Physicists' Tournament (CYPT) for five years. As the responsible person of IYPT in China, he has taken charge of the selection, training and participation of Chinese team of IYPT since 2008, and Chinese team was continuously awarded with the gold medal for two years in 2014 and 2015. He leads the team to construct the first TEAL (integrity and ability of Nankai University) classroom based on the modern technology in mainland with independent design to discuss new pattern of classroom teaching.
