Xue Wu, male, associate professor, the permanent place of ancestor is the Rongxian County of Sichuan Province.

From 1986 to 1990, undergraduate in School of Physical Sciences of Nankai University;

From 1990 to 1993, optical master in School of Physical Sciences of Nankai University;

From 1993 to 1996, doctor of engineering in School of Biomedical of Zhejiang University.

Research direction:

He is mainly engaged in the Life Information Physics. His research field includes the biological spectroscopy and molecular mechanism of ion channel.

Research topic and academic works:

The research contents include the spectroscopy of label, the structural basis for the selective permeability of ion channel. With the analysis of the spectra for the probes introduced to the system, the dynamic characteristics of protein skeleton and local region are understood. Appling the molecular simulation, he investigates the structural basis of the selective permeability of the ion channel so as to explore the key sites and internal mechanism.
